There are many different sacred religious sites all over the world whether it’s a church, a garden, a temple, or a monument. There are even religious sites in places that are familiar to you. Some countries that are highly populated with religion are Israel, Egypt, and India. I would love to further my knowledge on different sites all over the globe, as well as my knowledge on how attending these holy places can be different for each individual. I can make connections between my life and people of any religion because I attend church weekly. Religion is everywhere and is a very important piece of daily life for many people, including myself.
One of the many places that is highly populated with religious sites is Israel. A very sacred religious site located in Israel is The Garden Tomb, in Jerusalem. The Garden Tomb is a very powerful place to people of the Christian religion because it is believed to be the place where Jesus was buried and later resurrected. One of Israel’s main geographical features is Negev. Negev is a desert in southern Israel that is known for its many exhibits on the story of Abraham and this unique landscape also makes an appearance in the Bible. There are Jeep tours that can be taken directly through the dunes, cliffs, and craters scattered throughout the desert making this a breathtaking experience.
