Right now, I hope to start preparing for a career in an anesthesiology. I shall continue making straight A’s and excel in all subjects. I am a member of the National Junior Honor Society and participated in the Duke TIP program. Outside of school, I attend many extracurricular activities such as viola and swimming.…
Throughout my life I have always tried to be the best person I could possibly become. From having perfect grades to being any sports team MVP. I have grown up with the phrase, “The harder you work, the better you do,” engraved into my head. My dad told me this after school, after sports, and after I finish anything i did. I work hard for my grades and that has ended me here.…

When I came to the Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences, it was difficult to adjust to the heavy coursework which led to a lot of stress. As a result, I changed my study habits and worked even harder to reach my goal. Now I have a GPA of a ninety-five and although it may have been hard at times, I was able to persevere. In addition to achieving the scholarship aspect throughout my high school career, I also aided the community through service.…
At school, participating in extracurricular activities, such as sports/clubs, and actively working to improve my academics, such as getting involved in our schools TMSCA (science/math) team, is very critical to me. They not only enhance my educational standpoint but my leadership skills as well. This is why I believe I will be a great contribution to this program. I am always trying to do my finest job to any project I engage in, whether it is something as simple as writing a paper or a task as difficult as my last class project worth an enormous amount of my grade. I am always willing to broaden my horizons with things unexpected and constantly continue to bloom, for I never want my education to end.…
Servant Leadership I was reading from Oswald Chambers as a small part of my devotional hour recently and read the following which just leaped off the page at me. John 13:13 Ye call Me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am The curious thing about Our Lord is that He never insists on our obedience. When we begin to usurp authority and say “You must” and “you shall” it is a sure sign that we are out of touch with the supreme Authority.…
My hard work and dedication in high school lead to me being offered the Distinguished Scholarship here at Prairie View. This scholarship was the key to my post-secondary career because it allowed me to focus on my education without stressing about the financial cost of college being put on my mother or myself. Upon graduation, I was accepted into the Panther Pride Summer Bridge Program, which I completed with a 4.0 GPA along with my fall semester. I was recognized for my hard work by being honored at the University College A-Game banquet and at the Honors Convocation when I attained Honor Roll status this year. I plan to continue my success so I can graduate Summa Cum Laude with my undergraduate and graduate degree.…
Each semester I have received Distinguished Honors roll at my school. My accumilative GPA is 4.000. Next year, as a senior, I plan to take AP classes to better prepare me for a college education. I even earned the privilege of enrolling in Honors and AP courses because of my hard work. My current goals includes finishing my senior year with A’s only, becoming more of an advocate for myself, and graduating high school with an acceptance to a great…
The main reason why I think that HACC is the best choice for me is because of the cost. The rates per credit are around $250 and that is for in-state residents. The total cost for a commuter would be around $13,750 for a student who is full time, which means they are taking 12 credits per term (Stager). This price of $13,750 includes the price of books, supplies, food, and transportation and it is an average price for all HACC students (HACC.edu). I think that I could easily cut some of the cost by trying to buy my books online for a cheaper price or even eating at home to save a lot of money.…
I'm cadet Allessandro Vos and I'm here today to tell you my point of view of JROTC and how it became to be. The mission of JROTC is "to motivate young people to be better citizens". Wikipedia defines a good citizen as someone who shows respect, has a good attitude, helps out his community, and is an overall great person. Within JROTC I have gained all but not restricted to of the qualities above from acronyms and values like the 7 army values (LDRSHIP) to service projects like Operation Maverick Child. Through JROTC, I have been required to learn valuable acronyms, values, and tools.…
In order to get my BSN from Saginaw Valley and become a nurse, I have to set short term and long term goals. I have to set goals in order to get good grades and to keep my financial aid going. In the past I’ve haven’t been doing good on the Sociology exams and I want to prove to myself that I can do better.…
