Fitness Assessment Research Paper

Physical Education instructors will track the fitness assessment of their students from junior high to high school. The fitness assessment will consist of a PACER test (aerobic capacity), One-minute crunch test (abdominal strength and endurance), One-minute pull up or push up test (muscular strength and endurance), sit and reach (flexibility), body composition using an hand-held device, and height and weight. The results of these tests will be compared to the appropriate norm so students can get an idea of their health performance. The results will be carried on from junior high to high school and will be included in the student's permanent record.

One of our readings from last week mentioned that there is an overall lack of physical activity
