Abstract
In all honesty, no matter the circumstance, is it right to take the life of another innocent human being? Within the poverty stricken country of India, the killings of innocent females from all age groups are occurring daily. This has become the social and cultural normal for the Indian people. Females whether newborn, children, grown, old, etc. are being murdered simply because they are females. The infants are left in ditches and trash cans (invisible girl project, 2011). The results I received varied quite significantly between males and females. More males agreed that is was okay to kill someone. Of the thirty people asked, eleven were Male. Of those eleven males, four agreed that was okay to kill another Human being. More men also agreed that women were lesser than males. Of the eleven males two agreed to women being lesser and one male said he believed discrimination did not consist against females. However, a majority of females thought differently. Of the nineteen females asked only one agreed to both women being considered lesser and discrimination not existing. One also agreed that killing was okay.
