Fancy, a pregnant horse, who was about to be slaughtered at a kill auction, was living her life in constant fear.
Thankfully, Fancy was rescued by the Crossfire Engine Rescue in Texas. Annie Shurtleff and the rest of the staff at Crossfire Engine Rescue have dedicated themselves to rescuing and rehabbing troubled horses.
Although Fancy was safe at the Crossfire property, her previous living arrangements still made her fearful of everything. The workers at Crossfire did everything they could to maker her feel more comfortable. They even went so far as to sleep in the barn with her at night.
