Something worth living is ultimate happiness, does that mean that is where our faith lies? Additionally, Tilley questions the reader whether or not faith can be justified. This mainly occurs because of the fact people are always searching for truth. There are three rules that Tilley discusses throughout the book that must occur in order for faith to exist. The first being how it[faith] must shine light on the world in some manner. The second rule is all facts must be consistent during this revelation. The last and most vital rule is the relationship we chose must allow us to be true to ourselves. These three rules, according to Tilley, must all coexist for faith to come into play.
