The goal of the current study was to evaluate the impact of the FRIENDS for Life program with additional coaching from teachers experienced in the implementation of this program as a universal intervention in their classroom. To the best of the searched knowledge, this is the first study evaluating the impact of the FRIENDS for Life program when delivered with additional coaching support during the implementation process. It is also the first time the evaluation process includes both student and teacher emotional outcomes. The hypothesis is that the intervention will facilitate better emotional outcomes for students and teachers.
