Usually to keep vocal expression the person would have to connect with the song emotionally. They could use body language and facial expression to intensify the expression of the song. Vocal expression can be used by adding some soul to the song or by applying your own feelings to it. Most people usually breathe through their chest. Somehow in our lives we started breathing wrong which makes it hard for us to breathe through our diaphragm when we need to. Most people would have to practice breathing techniques to start breathing properly. It is important because when singing, if you can’t breathe, you won’t be able to be heard and then you are gasping for air and miss the lyrics you’re supposed to be saying.
Bel Canto is different because it requires a lot of vocal advancement. Jazz has a little kick back vibe to it which makes it different from other genres of music and pop is character ized for the generation that is now in. Different genres are there for people to select the type they like and stick to genres of music have a unique styles to it.
It is important to have the precise posture because if you don’t you could be nervous and faint. You have to keep your legs shoulder length and bent. It is not good to have your legs locked because you are basically cutting off blood circulation causing you to faint.
