Explain Why Kids Should Not Be Allowed To Have Cell Phones In School

Although rules are set to protect the kids at school, I believe that some are just too strict. There are many rules that I respect, like no talking and also to stay in your seat. However, the no cell phone rule is just obnoxious. This rule should obviously be banned for many reasons.

First off, I think that kids should be allowed to have their cell phones at school because of communication. As a middle school participant I can say that there are many things that change during the school day. If there is a big storm coming and your school gets out early, you have to figure out how you are going to get home. Therefor, without a phone, the only way you can contact your guardian is through the school office phone.
