Exercise Adherence

Exercise adherence is maintaining a regular exercise routine. There are many health benefits that come along with regular physical activity such as reducing the risk of high-cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease but, yet people still have a difficult time adhering to exercise, with forty-five percent of Americans do not exercise on a regular basis and fifty-percent of those who begin and exercise routine will drop out with-in six months. Myself being part of that forty-percent that does not have a regular exercise routine.
Besides being lazy, which is not a valid excuse for not exercising, one of the barriers that prevent me from adhering to exercise is the fact that I lack social support. Since, I don’t have anyone to
