Leadership in Beowulf Beowulf displays multiple examples of leadership characteristics and qualities. Leadership is a tough quality to develop and use, but Beowulf makes it look as if it is completely natural to him. Beowulf is a leader because he risks his own life to save others, people count on him to win battles, and he has confidence in his abilities. Beowulf risks his own life to save others.
