Per Reporter: The family has recent history with CPS. Michelle and the children previously lived with Debbie (relative) until 3/26/18, when Michelle was caught using drugs. Michelle uses pot, crack or heroin. Michelle is currently 16 weeks pregnant. The doctor advised Micelle that she was high risk and advised her to stop smoking. “I like smoking, I am going to do what I want”, Michelle stated. Michelle refused prenatal care. Debbie and unknown friend provided clothing for the children, but they didn’t have socks or shoes. Michelle is unemployed. Michelle constantly gives the children baby Tylenol or Motrin to sleep because she can’t deal with them. Kaliyah was prescribed medication due to being sick, but Michelle refused to give her the medication. Michelle and the …show more content…
It is unknown if the drugs are manufactured or sold. Michelle has been witnessed beating the children with her hand. The most recent incident occurred a couple of weeks prior to intake. It is unknown if there were any marks or bruising left on the children. Lamarcus is the father of the children as well as the unborn child, according to Michelle. However, Lamarcus disagrees with being the father of the unborn child. Michelle is not allowed at Lamarcus home due to a domestic dispute; he lives in Bay St. Louis. Lamarcus advises Michelle to go out and “pull tricks” (prostitution) for their drug money. The children are out late at night. It is believed that Kaliyah has been touched inappropriately. When changing Kaliyah’s diaper, she’ll put her arms behind her head and spread her legs wide open, which is not normal behavior. Kaleen curses as an adult; he calls Michelle by her name. Kaleen needs professional help. It is unknown if the basic needs for the children are met. Debbie put the family’s clothing outside on her patio.
