To get a better understanding of the area, on Tuesday 24th May 2016 approximately at 4pm, I rode on the 32 Eglinton west bus, route 32A. Though the location was familiar, looking at it from an informed angle made me notice about things that I never noticed before. My journey started from Eglinton station and ended on Renforth Drive. As soon as I boarded the bus I was able to see that the bus was completely full, one reason for this may be because I went during the rush hours, the people in the bus were pretty much from diverse backgrounds but most of them were from Asian or African-American background. There was also one shop naming “Jamaica National” a finance company that targets African-Americans as their main market. Further down the road as we crossed Glenholme Avenue I also spotted a church and on the opposite side of the church I also saw some Chinese and Indian restaurants. Along the way I was also able to spot many town houses and some old rental apartment buildings. All these things made me realise how diverse the area of Eglinton is and the amount of commercial importance this area carry is immense, as so many businesses operates at this
