Equity in education throughout the United States is a problem majority of high schools have to deal with. Equity in education takes place all around the world but is a problem America has to face. School resources is one of the main problems when it comes to equity in education, whether it is from the lack of teaching from teachers, the facilities the students are taught in, or the safety for the students; in solution, the government can provide more funds to these schools, and have the schools that are well-off, donate money or resources.

Students are faced with competition throughout high school, where almost everyone wants to be known and the talk of the school. With the students always trying to be someone everyone knows, they will do anything for attention. Pranks, fights, bullying is how some students become popular and will do any of these actions without having a thought of who or what it is affecting. With more funds from the government, it will give the students that urge to try harder and convince them that their education is important. The government can use more tax dollars or take some money out of another project in order to fund this solution and the well-off schools can provide whatever resources they do not need. It is not only going to help the students, but also the teachers as well. It will provide better resources such as books, technology to teach the class, and materials like boards to write on for notes or examples. With students having someone who wants to teach them and have the materials to show them what they need to know, it will allow them to have equal education compared to the well- off high schools.
With these resources or funds, safety for the students can be fixed to an extent; allowing these high schools to get security to patrol the campus or security cameras to ensure that the students are in class or not doing anything on campus like provoking fights, drugs, sex, or violence.
