What is one example of ageism that you have witnessed in healthcare?

The one example of ageism that I have witnesses in healthcare is when everyone sweet talk to elderly and try to do everything for them and not letting a person do the things that they can do themselves. . I have witnessed staff feeding the patient even when patient is requesting to eat by herself but they do it because they assumed it will take longer for them to finish because of the old age. Even witnessed staff putting the diaper to the patient at the night time because they think that they are too sick to get up at night to go to the restroom even the patient are using the restroom during the day.
