I have served in the United Stated Air Force, and as a result obtained a service connected injury. I had difficulty with my simple daily activities such as walking. I had such a wonderful team of health care professionals to include nurses, doctors, physical therapists that helped me regain my health and return my abilities to preinjury level that I have decided to go to nursing school after I separated from service and make a difference in other people’s life, people just like me.
I have applied for Veteran’s Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment program to return to college to apply for the nursing program. I was accepted into the program and started working on my degree right away. I took the nursing entrance examination and submitted my application to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of
