One is that some schools might not be on board. One of the goals for this program is “to add three schools each year to our roster.” (Everybody Counts). So therefore, the program could do more to make the goal more than 3 schools a year. Also, there could be some people who don't pay attention or don't connect to this. According to the article “Everybody Counts”, another one of the main goals is “To help everyone know the person behind the disability and to create a climate in which we all feel at ease with one another’s differences.” So the program or even the people who run the session could go deeper into this and make it so kids understand it. Also, the article “Everybody Counts” states as one of their goals as, “To reach thousands of grade school students annually.” So the program could try to do this in a less time so schools can get on board

As a member of a club called "The Best Buddies Club", our role as a member of the club was to be assigned a buddy whom suffered physical disabilities for a large majority of their life. Throughout my experience I had met many kids around my age with certain disabilities, and with that I learned about the lives lived by each and everyone of them. A few told me sorrowful stories of a time they were bullied either physically or verbally. It brought great disappointment to humanity as a whole, those kids were one of the sweetest I've ever met. This led our group and I to spread awareness with a motto of "spread the word to end the word", directed at abolishing the use of the word "retard" or as we called it "the r-word".…
