Since the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States had never experienced such a dreadful attack. However, on September 11, 2001, America once again woke up to discover that they were being under attack. This assault towards the United States marked the single greatest loss it had ever faced. Not only was the nation violated, but it created an enormous insecurity and fear. It was a day that impacted and changed the lives of all Americans, one way or another. Leaving many devastated by the sights of seeing the World Trade Center and the Pentagon being attacked by terrorists. Unfortunately, the effects of the attacks, permanently and dramatically changed America and its people.
