They not only sang different genres, but the ones that caught my eye were SWV’s weak. This was the first song I heard when I entered the bar. At that moment I knew that I was grateful that I had chosen to attend and watch this band. SWV is a girl group composed of three sisters who were popular in the 90’s. This song has a simple meaning. Brandy basically sings about being down for her boyfriend. That she’ll be there in whatever situation he is going through. She will not run away. This song made me reminisce of the first time I heard it. Soulvation made the song slower and powerful. She brought meaning to the song. She did not use too much runs and riffs. She is one of my favourite artists therefore I enjoyed that set. It seemed like I was screaming so loud in my head for a lot of people do not know about Brandy. Critics call her the “vocal bible” fro the voice is out of this world. I jammed a little bit to the song because I was alone in this bar and I wasn’t comfortable going all out.
