First of all, everyday new technological advancement, great innovation and advanced technology appear that could change our life. As the time goes, many of those have changed a lot of things in different sectors such as: economy, health, business, education and social life. One of the most affected innovations is car. Cars have affected our social life in many ways so it made our tasks easier, faster and more comfortable. It helped us to communicate and corporate with each other easily. Before this innovation, people were depending on traditional types of transportation and they were wasting a lot of time in order to move from one place to another. Nowadays, many companies tried to improve and develop new technology in different ways, but the most interesting one is what a company called Google did, because they innovate a self-driving car. Self-driving cars are driverless cars that have the ability to sense the surrounding environment of the car. It can transfer from one place to another without any human contribution. As the company claim, those type of cars will be safe for everyone so it will help all people regardless to their ability to drive such as disabled people and those who are not able to drive cars because of their age. As definition, self-driving car is an automatic car that can drive itself to a specific destination according to the passenger. It controls the car features such as break system, sensors, navigation, safety distance, light, parking, and speed limit without any intervention from the passenger. This car was created by Google. The self-driving car can sense the surrounding environment, record data and as a result the car move safely to its destination. This automatic car has artificial intelligence that control the car and its parts based on programming language. Artificial intelligence is considered as the brain of the car that 's responsible in decision-making and relate all parts together as one system. It was created in California where Google has its head office after getting the license of self-driving cars from Nevada department of motor vehicles in may 2012. The idea of self-driving car came after many serious problems and issues such as traffic and accidents that we should deal with in order to live in a safe and easy life. Nowadays car is considered as one of the most dangerous mean of transportation and accidents as one of the main cause of death. The reason behind these accidents could be traffic congestion, lack of attention, not leaving safety distance and exceeding the speed limit. However, if the idea of self driving car is implemented, all of these issues will be under control because of it 's ability to interact with the surrounding environment better than the human himself. Also, there is an issue that made scientists think about driverless car, which is the ability to drive. Not every single person in this world can drive .At the moment, driving is limited to a few category of human beings because it need special skills that cannot be performed by others such as disabled, elderly people and young people. If the idea of self-driving car is implemented properly and correctly therefore all of these problems will be solved. Although, there are a lot of obstacles and challenges waiting for Google self driving car to overcome in order for the car to be ready for public. One of the problems that must be highlighted are the places where Google car could drive itself too. Previously, I mentioned that Google driverless car already covered more than million miles but this distance is nothing compared to the whole distance of the world therefore what 's the benefit of a car that does not work in 99 % of the world. Also, Google self-driving car does not have the ability to deal with climatic changes such as rain, snow, and tornadoes.
