Predictions- What I expect in this reading is for the author to write about Delaney and Kyra. Hopefully now that the author gave a better description of Candido and America he will do the same with Delaney and Kyra.
Connections- The connections I see between this text and my personal experience. I can't relate to Delaney and Kyra due to their lifestyle. Hopefully, one day I become close to Delaney's and Kyra's lifestyle but stay a humble human. Movies have been produced with a familiar background of Delaney and Kyra. For example, a rich-class family living at a gated community with a perfect scenario as a background. The wife working as a realtor and the husband becoming a writer of nature. There are authors that write about the rich-class either as a positive or

Delaney gives the horrible news to Kyra about Sacheverell the dog and how he put the foreleg in the freezer. Kyra's attitude ad appearance makes her believe she is not in good shape to be selling houses. Kyra is a type of person that has to have everything perfect in order for her to be in a good mood or to be able to do her job correctly. In the end, of the chapter Delaney began to write on his "Pilgrim at Topanga Creek" article of how the beauty of nature.
Reactions- I really enjoyed the author write more about Delaney and Kyra. When the author writes about Delaney and Kyra I can't relate to their lifestyle because I have never lived like them and makes it difficult to try to picture myself as one of them. The author gave good descriptions towards Delaney and Kyra to be able to understand their lifestyle and occupation. This novel has been interesting and shows two different couples with different lifestyles and

Charles Feeney ’56 concluded his 35-year philanthropic career last month the same way he started it — with a $7 million donation to his alma mater, Cornell University. This gift mirrors a donation of the same size in 1982 — Feeney’s first donation to the University — which launched the Cornell Tradition, a program that awards 500 fellowships each year to Cornell students who “demonstrate significant work experience, a commitment to campus and/or community service and academic achievement,” according to the University. For example, in 2016, Cornell Tradition fellows helped with fall clean-up at the Cornell Botanic Gardens, participated in an annual service trip to Nicaragua and provided gifts to children in the Tompkins County area as part…

There’s so many wonderful characters throughout the Harry Potter series, so choosing one was a little difficult. After some thought, I decided that Neville Longbottom would be a great character to write this over. I chose Neville because I feel that I relate to him in several ways. Sometimes I’m just as clumsy as he is and definitely just as lost, but I manage to put forth a lot of effort into whatever it is that I’m doing. I always liked the fact that Neville seemed to be much braver than he looked.…
