On page 276, it states,"If you let the two of us- both him and me-leave Great Wexly, we'll not come back. You'll never see me again." This to me means that Crispin had freedom of speech to say that if he let's Crispin and Bear go then Crispin will never become king.
Crispin went through this challenging journey with only bear to help him and through this whole adventure I forgot he was a peasant because he did all this amazing adventure and he was just a peasant. According to page 275, it states,"Your Mother was nothing but a servant." This to me says that Crispins mother is a peasent and if hes parent was a peasant that would mean that Crispin is also a peasant.
In conclusion, to me this book changes the way that I see freedom in more than one way. The ways it changed it was to always have freedom of choice, and to have the freedom to choose to save your best friend, and that even a peasant has freedom. So this book, to me, was mostly about a peasant on his journey to
