I know that the confederate flag was a nation known flag that was flown back during the civil war. It was a battle flag and had 7 stars for all the confederate states that believed in the sacrifice there men gave for others’ lives and freedom and I also believe that the flag was taken away from others believing that it is meant for racism cause it was frown during the racist times in America with blacks getting more freedom. Third I thought that I could do this one because I had a strong feeling for the topic and it went with my book too.
Fourth I looked for more references towards the confederate flag banning’s. I found one more about all the flags being taken away and it had lots of paragraphs about the confederate flag taken away from the seven confederate states. The important results that I found was in the first article at the end talking about the appropriate use for the confederate flag and it says “the NAACP however, took umbrage with the new location, complaining that the flag had become more visible than ever. It sent out mailings, urging the continuation of its state boycott and arguing that the flag also should be removed from all state grounds, including the soldiers Memorial.
