How the 1960s and Present Day are Different and Similar
There are lots of different and similar things about the 1960s and the Present Day.
Lots of things changed like technology, fashion/clothes, and racial attitudes. But, some things about those things stayed the same. The technology was really slow back then, but now it is really fast, technology has become more advanced while keeping some things. They kept the idea that there can be projectors that play videos or tv shows, but the just improved on what you can see on a regular day to day TV. Lots of objects have changed and been slightly revised from the 1960s, including a wide variety of technology, fashion/clothes, and music. In differentiation, there were some ways that in The Watsons Go to Birmingham that are great examples of how things are completely different than today’s things. In The Watsons Go to Birmingham, Kenney’s family had a car called the Brown Bomber. A car can be classified as technology because the car’s automotive technology improved, and therefore made a car.
