Equality of Women in Modern Israeli
The Zionist movement was not travelling along the traditional Jewish way. On the contrary it created the basis for the religious society when it changed the role of women in society. Because traditionally, Israeli women were groups of religiously observant who believe that they should be able to pray at the Kotel and read the Torah scroll as well as wear the Tallit. Israeli women are defined as Jewish and Palestinian Arab. However, the Equality of Israeli women can be defined in many different ways in the Israeli societies. It was accepted in the recent years that the traditional Jewish culture, and the secondary role that the new state have when it shifted to the feminist ideology laws did not permit women to equally do everything as men; Israeli woman who disobeys these laws is subject to be fined and can be placed in jail for up to six months. In addition, the traditional acceptance of not stereotyping against women is very challenging so this is why the ideologies has lead government to pay women lower wages. In order to acquire change; they would have to examine the past and compare the religious secular of women and used the justice principle, but they first need support for the subject gender equality because they have to implemented laws through legislation to give the women of Israel equal rights.
