Eminem When one thinks of rappers one person to come to mind is Eminem. Eminem had many struggles that he overcame. He is a great role model because he followed his childhood dream and made it a reality. From being born and raised in Detroit to be a major rap music star, Eminem led an amazing life.
Eminem was born outside of Kansas City. His name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III. He grew mostly in Detroit. He had to move a lot and was always the outcast to all his new schools. He was bullied every day. He got pushed into a locker and got brain damage. His mom sued the school for his brain damage. As a kid, he loved language and reading comic books. He loved to study the dictionary.(Eminem Biography) He failed ninth grade three times before dropping out. He dropped out at the age of seventeen.

The addiction stopped his career for awhile. He went to rehab for the addiction. Elton John helped him with his problem while he was in rehab. He made a new album and sold 45.1 million copies.
