It has been discussed for many years because the Pottstown School District has struggled to keep all the elementary schools up to date. With one building, less renovation would be needed. However, when renovation needs to be done, it can all be done to the school, without having to worry about others. Having one big elementary school, with access to surrounding buildings, makes it convenient. A substantial amount of money can be saved with this one building. Why have four elementary schools in such a small town when you can have one? Pottstown is a small enough school district that kids from all over town can get to it within minutes. There is no point in having four poorly renovated buildings, when the school district can have one manageable building that is convenient to get to. Within the vicinity of the school there would be health care offices, banks, and stores. The businesses and elementary school downtown creates opportunities for more to flourish in the area. This helps Pottstown as a whole, with the businesses booming, and the school being updated. Convenience is a major bonus in having one elementary school. …show more content…

In many countries, education funds come from local sources. However, all states have a duty to contribute towards costs that school districts incur in offering education to learners. In this case, both states and districts are deemed to have a formula that guide them in funding these costs. In addition, the formulas also help in distributing funds among the districts depending on factors such as enrollment of student levels, characteristics of students and local wealth. The good thing about this schools that I like is will motivate the students and tell them what exactly what to do also the teacher would help and see what every student is doing but the only thing is that the teacher do not gives any ideas to students when a students are not sure about an answer for a question. Also the teacher does not have the control of the classroom when students get noisy or get up from their desk. Some students are noisy and annoying and it’s very hard for a person to deal with so many students at the same time when they are noisy. I remember back in the days in high school some of the student were noisy and annoying or just throwing papers and it was hard for a teacher to take the control of the class. She just called the securities from the school to take them out the class.…

In 1821, Boston English High School opened it’s doors and became the first public high school ever. When it first opened it had an enrollment of 101 boys and no female students. It was placed on the corner of Derne Street and Temple Street, in Boston Massachusetts. It was a school opened for boys who did not plan to attend Harvard or could not afford it. I think that this school opening played a key role in educational history because public schools today give all kinds of students the opportunity to learn just as this one did.…

This question is of rising debate and there are many points to back each viewpoint up, but Florida shouldn’t attend year-round school because it is difficult to find childcare during breaks, and there is no concrete proof that students benefit positively from year-round school. Although students and teachers may be refreshed after the frequent breaks, they will lose a great deal of time reviewing and lose out on integral learning time. My goal is to create a plan to teach and organize a classroom equipped to create a fun, safe, and motivational learning environment for pre-k students. My first thought is how one grasps the minds of this young age group of students through classroom management. The room has to be age appropriate, very attractive and inviting to the students. “Classroom management is a set of procedures and systems that are put in place to create an environment that focuses on students learning”.
