Has the use of electronic devices and the Internet changed the way children educate themselves for the better? Using electronic devices and the Internet has better educated and changed the way children learn for the better. Google and other online search engines have made getting information as easy as typing in your question or something you 're unclear upon and pressing “Search”. If children need help after school they can easily look up information instead of asking for help and can attempt to learn something on their own. Electronic devices should be used during school without a question because it enables the children to have millions of pieces of information at their fingertips. Although, people may argue, that the Internet and social media is a distraction. Search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, and many more have revolutionized the way we …show more content…
PowerPoint is constantly being used in a classroom when a teacher is trying to explain something. In every single class I have the teacher has used PowerPoint at least five times a semester. PowerPoint,Excel, Word is constantly being presented to us every day. Because children see this So often they should be able to use their phones, tablets, or any electronic device they have during school. Yes this may cause a problem because children might get distracted with their social media or start listening to music if it is being used irresponsibly. But, there is more positive outcomes than negative ones when it comes to using technology in the classroom and students should get the necessary resources during school.
