From explorers sailing to America to manifest destiny, humans have always been eager to travel to new places and expand to push the boundaries that accepted by most and challenged by few. Now that we are jaded of what seems to be everything on earth, we thirst for a spring of unknown knowledge. That exploring space, with the inkling that it is the next step to improving life on earth, will successfully quench. However, us dismissing our home as being fully explored is rash. It is not ethical for us to try to travel to deep space when we have many unexplored territories and problems, corresponding with them, right here on earth.
