Respect is taken into account when carrying out physical care routines by making sure all early years assistants give every child respect. For example if they have a disability or some needs which needs to be covered. They should be no different to others. By talking to the child during the care routines they will feel involved and not feel left out. Respect can be taken into account by; insuring every child has privacy. This is very important especially if the child has disability or needs the early year’s assistant needs to take into account. But even if the child has no disability or illness they should still have privacy. Respect can also be taken into account outside of physical care routines such as sharing information about the children. All information should stay safe and only be shared for the people who need to know. It should all be private. This all shows how much respect you have for the child and the parents and workers around you by following guidelines. …show more content…
Everyone should be treated with dignity. For example you could listen to the child, include them in conversations, and make them feel safe. The child might not sense it as much as an adult but the parents and everyone in the workplace will show that you think the child is worthy and valued and not to be different for who they are. During my work placement I can follow all these ways to take dignity and respect into account in all physical care routines even if I’m just watching or helping out
