One piece of evidence is that they started to settle communities which led to government, trade, and domestication of animals. Climate change forced people to settled down as a result they built Jericho which was built over 10,000 years ago. When people settled in Jericho they started to domesticate animals for food. Once they learned how to tame them they became a pretty reliable food source. Since different people tamed different animals they started trading animals and other provisions they had. Once our ancestors learned how to make fire they were able to cook meat, and sleep on the floor while still being safe from predators. Nowadays nobody eats raw meat, except for in sushi. Before our human ancestors had fire predators would be ready to kill them if they were going to sleep on the floor, so they had to sleep in trees. Sleeping in trees led to terrible posture but, once they learned how to make fires they would keep animals away so that they could sleep on the floor, sleeping on the floor led to better posture.
