I would first like to thank Frostburg State University for accepting me in their institution and giving me the chance to further my education after my high school scholar years. I have enjoyed my time at Frostburg State University and with hard work I have been able to make the dean’s list and be accepted in the Honors program during the first semester of my freshman year. I hope to continue to work even harder during the second semester and throughout my school career. As a small university, Frostburg has enabled me to benefit from many things, such as the small size classes. Now that I have gotten used to college and life on campus, I believe it is time to continue to push myself to work harder and to attend an institution where I could be academically challenged and can be surrounded by many people who share my profession.…

I want to attend Baylor University because it has the main eight aspects I consider most important to me when contemplating whether or not I am interested in a school. The reasons why I wish to attend Baylor University is that it is one of the top schools in the region for education, it possesses a friendly, Christian atmosphere, and is home to the 2015 National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling team. The university also has a great location, friendly community, relatively small class sizes, several meaningful traditions, and a variety of interest-based clubs. The first and most overriding reason I want to attend Baylor University is that, according to the U.S News and World Report, it is one of the top 100 doctoral-granting universities in the United States.…

It’s safe to say my parents are sick of watching Star Wars Episode II: The Clone Wars. Our family tradition of Saturday movie night is led by my brother and I, each choosing the designated movie every other week, usually that one. We would play the film on a computer while eating ice cream kept cold by the freezer in our house and previously Safeway. Two hours later, my brother and I would trudge off to bed and turn on the AC in the summer or the heater in the winter. Everything that I did, touched, and saw was linked to technology, especially growing up in the 2000’s when the digital age was picking up.…
