Early research investigating the effectiveness of D.A.R.E. programs indicated that the effect of these programs was minimal, and one study (published in 2004) argued that the program did not warrant being funded.
My policy issue is the D.A.R.E. Program which stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. This program which started in the 80's and had a popular adudence in the 90's has since ceased to exisit. My policy paper is on the effectiveness of the D.A.R.E program and what happen to this once esteamed esbalished program.
