Dress Code Persuasive Essay

The dress code & uniform policy has been a big controversial issue lately. This issue is overlooked and has not been tamed. There are many reasons why it is such thing as a dress code policy. Some people believe in the different dress code policies, and others are against it and feel as if you should be able to wear whatever you want to because it can’t hinder you from 11your education. Or can it? Some people mistake dress code as uniform when in reality, they are two different things. A dress code are written and more often, unwritten rules with regard to clothing. When they go to class they worry more about how they look and how people perceive them to be rather than worrying about the next test coming up. Uniforms and dress code should be a part of EVERY school. With dress code, you do not have to worry about there being a lot of fights. Most fights that happen in school come from one person talking about another and usually what they have on. Also with dress code, teachers will not have to worry about kicking a student out of class because of what they have on. Students are able to get work finish easier and faster because the attention will be focused on the teacher and the work that is in front of them. Most schools are starting to have tighter dress codes. In some schools you are able to wear whatever you want to a certain extent. Meaning, males can wear whatever they want to but they have to wear a belt in order to stay out of trouble. Also, females are able to wear shorts but they cannot be 6 inches from the knee cap. They also have to wear belts even if their pants fits perfect. I believe that ALL schools should have a uniform policy because that would mean that everyone is equal which means there will be less problems and less
