Thesis Statement
Steinbeck shows that dreams in the “Of Mice and Men” cannot come true in the 1930s by 3 people. Like Candy, Lennie, and Crooks who are different but kinda the same. Dreams don't come true in America by differences and segregation

Lennie had something to hold him back, he was retarded for example “ The hell with what i says”. Some people treated him differently because of the way he was. The only person that cared the most was George. They had a bond that couldn't be broken Lennie wouldn't have gotten far without George. They both shared the same dream to live on a big farm and tend rabbits in the fields because they were soft.
