Another theory can be that people saw dinosaurs or unearthed dinosaur bones. The notion that people have seen these creatures is highly unlikely, due the fact that humanity could have never walk the Earth at the same time as dinosaur. Dinosaur roomed the Earth approximately 235 million years ago, becoming extinct some 65 million years ago. The earliest recorded dragon legend was around 5,000 years ago. In Dragons or Dinosaur: creation or evolution, author Darek Isaacs (2010), he (and other researches) speculates that it may have been not the experience of real dinosaur that prompted the appearance of the dragon myth, but rather the misidentification of the fossilized remains of ancient dinosaurs. I strongly concur that the main reason why the dinosaurs became extinct was because some kind of disaster occurred. I agree with the disaster theory because, if you really think about it, a disaster is the only logical theory that makes sense as to why the dinosaurs vanished from earth. In addition, there have been several studies to prove that disasters are what caused the dinosaurs to become…

After years of debate, scientists now know that dinosaurs were the ancestors of birds, not reptiles. Dr Jakob, along with scores of other palaeontologists, have confirmed that dinosaurs as large as T. rex were covered in feathers rather than scales. " Velociraptors featured quite heavily in the film. We know that there's not a single inch of a velociraptor's body, apart from nails and claws, that wasn't covered in…

After the first three movies in the series, you might think that they would have learnt of their incapacity to contain a dinosaur – precisely the reason why Jurassic Park was shut down at the end of the third movie. Twenty-two years later, the park has been reopened, renamed and revamped. Many Asian folktales and myths portray Eastern Dragons as friendly towards people and generous in their rewards. In the legend of “The Four Dragons,” the dragons saw that there was a terrible drought in China, causing “the crops [to] wither, the grass [to] turn yellow and fields [to crackle] under the scorching sun,” (E1). When the dragons saw the people’s suffering, they grew very upset and decided to appeal to the Jade Emperor, who agreed to send down rain. However, ten days pass and there was still no rain; they decided to try to make rain themselves using ocean-water, saving the people’s crops.…

Your healthcare organization, Harris Memorial Hospital, needs to look at both “hard” and “soft” savings when considering a system’s return on investment. Today’s presentation we will take a deeper look at the soft returns when implementing an electronic health record (EHR) system. It is important to remember that indirect savings are usually applied to processes not easily measured and, thus, quantifying savings can be difficult to see at first. We will look at the three steps in documenting soft returns: (1) identifying a process improvement opportunity, which is improved time/efficiency; (2) create a formula to calculate the benefits; (3) and determine the costs of the process and the net benefits. In order to determine the return benefits from EHR implementation, it is necessary to establish baseline metrics that can be used as a guideline for measuring success after the implementation.…

Dinosaurs ruled the earth for millions of years before the human species inhabited the planet, and thankfully for the human race, they became extinct. Ultimately, only a major catastrophe could completely dismantle an entire species, let alone a body of dinosaurs. Consequently, the debacle on the causes of dinosaur extinction have baffled the minds of paleontologists for centuries. Geologist and zoologist Stephen Jay Gould published “Sex, Drugs, Disasters, and the Extinction of Dinosaurs,” to compare scientific and speculative causes of dinosaur extinction. This passage is highly informative and enjoyable.…

Going back to the title the dinosaur can be a symbol of extinction or bringing the past into the present.
