Intro Baby killing. Women’s rights. The progressive awful left wing nuts. The old fashion stubborn right wing bible huggers. Abortion. Killing what we all once started as, but of course a much more minute version of the person you are today. Females get abortions for various reasons. For instance, their are simple cases such as the mother “accidentally” getting pregnant but doesn’t have the financial stability to deal with a child. Or much more extreme cases such as the women becoming pregnant due to rape or at a time when the women’s life is seriously threatened because of the pregnancy. But both of these are extremely rare. With this being said, I propose we address the “typical” abortion, In this essay I will look to examine what I refer to as a typical abortion and why I believe it to be wrong in most circumstances. I look to do this by advocating my thoughts through the work of Don MArquis. Famous piosoplher on abortion is immoral. Structure The structure of this paper will look to support and argue for the fetuses right during a typical abortion and to clearly state why I believe that it is in fact morally unacceptable .

I look to do this by simply reviewing over the work of Don Marquis, then I will attempt to give my own statements and thoughts on Don Marquises views on why abortion is immoral and then we will be specifically looking at articles that are replies to Don Marquises Abortion is immoral. We will primarily use his article “why abortion is immoral” . Although, we may touch on a little bit of Judith Thomson “defense of abortion” in the first section. We will first look at backing my question on the “typical abortion” by looking at the main reasons why women get abortions. After that we will then look to describe why a typical abortion is different from an abortion that is caused by extreme cases. And lastly, we I will look to clearly state my arguments against articles (name articles) that are taking the pro-abortion stance against Marquis abortion work. Reasoning for abortions So lets begin by evaluating the main reason women get abortions to help get a grasp on the issue. I look to again reiterate the seemingly forgotten fact that the majority of women that get abortions aren’t raped and or their life isn’t endangered because of the pregnancy. So I will again state that we will not get into the deep details of these although I will overview extreme vs. non extreme cases. Marquis all together avoids the topic of “extreme” abortions as I refer to them as. So why are so many women getting abortions? The top reasons for women’s getting an abortion are listed here. Inadequate financial to support the child or herself, not ready for responsibility, woman’s life would be changed too much, problems with relationships or marriage in some cases, too young and/or immature. It would appear to me that most of these “problems” are indeed just problems. With this being said you can control most of these to some extent and these don’t seem strong enough to end a life and prevent that child of having a future and therefore seemingly ending the child’s experiences that he/she would value at some point. So with this being said I have to ask my self doesn’t this violate moral rights of the child? Yes. Why I believe that to be true and why Marquis believes that to be true are in the following paragraphs. Which will look to examine why it is wrong to kill a fetus in greater detail.
