Hey everybody how you are doing? Well I know you guys love music and I'm glad to see that you guys made it here to hear my speech.
Some of you music lovers say that Kitty Wells and Jean Shepard were the best country singers in the 60’s. (Pause for the audience reaction) they are WRONG while they were on the charts, Dolly Parton was the number one hit.
You might be wondering who I am. I am Dolly Parton's sister ~Stella Parton~ This is important for me to talk about because I believe you guys need to know the FACTS.
Now! Dolly Parton was born in January 19, 1946. Dolly became famous when she started being a songwriter in 1964. Dolly loved being a songwriter, but she also loved being a singer too and …show more content…
She told some of the names of country music stars when I was little. Dolly my beautiful sister, she loved music until we would listen to it all day. When Dolly was going up amazingly on the charts she had to share a Throwback Thursday list with other artists. In 1999 Dolly Parton was inducted into The Country Music Hall Of Fame. Dolly went up while other singers went down a hair but still stayed in their regular range. Also it caused problems for the other music artists because she was taking their fame, but not meaning to. The problem was later solved when she did a song with another country artist. Then that's when people were asking if they could make a song together since they can perform with Dolly. So as a doll she is, she said, “Yes”. When she started singing with other artist they got more fame to so everybody got into a regular range.
After all, in Dolly’s own words she said, “It hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world.” Dolly is still loved today and the other artist I have mentioned unless they know you passed. (Wait for a reaction)
(Say in a happier voice) BUT that's all in the past now let's just think about the new country stars and see if Dolly Parton can pass them
