The 21st century has made so many changes in society and in our lives, the people’s lives. It has made many advancements in medicine, architecture, etc. but the biggest has been technology. The ability to communicate with people all around the world with just one touch of a button has made the biggest impact. Technology has changed our lives. It has changed people’s lives in both good and bad. Some believe it has taken over and destroyed our lives and relationships with others, most believe it has improved and bettered our lives. Different sites have proven both but they all show how technology has changed us.

We were once a communal species, hunting, gathering, and foraging for the benefit of ourselves and those around us. Although we moved away from a society formed on the mutual needs for survival we continue the practice of asking our neighbors for help when we are knees deep in a cookie recipe, stranded without eggs. However even this once commonplace practice of neighborly interaction is developing into a thing of the past, a mindset derived on mutual need has devolved into one centered solely on each individual. Our “We” mentality has been transfigured into a mindset precariously fixated on “me and mine”. As technology continues to develop, we dive deeper into the abyss of apathetic behavior, favoring a conversation through text than face to face human interaction, or liking a picture of a newborn on Facebook instead of holding that newborn in person.…

We can’t deny that technology has advanced and helped our world in positive ways. Technology has made an impact in medical fields, schools, and our everyday lives. If technology hadn’t advanced so much, we wouldn’t have cat scans in hospitals, smart boards in school, or even phones that last a while under water. Technology is very exciting because it involves a variety of people working together to create new inventions. My favorite thing about working with others as a team is that we all have ideas to share.…

Have you ever wondered how technology works or if is even good or bad for the people that use it or even for our society? Technology can have its good sides which are helping people communicate much faster and find solutions much faster than they have before but it can also have its bad sides like affecting the way that people communicate now, which is less than people use to talk before. Gina Tsuge argues that technology can be good or bad depending on whose hands it is on and the way that technology can be used by people. It can either affect people if it is not used the way it should be used, or it can benefit people or impact humanity in a positive way if it is used in a good and effective way.…
