Does Anne Frank Deserve An Award

The Holocaust was a terrible thing that happened in the European continent, it all started
January 30, 1933 and ended May 9, 1945. The camps that Jews were held up in were very brutal it is very shocking but fortunate that some survived. I am going to be talking about who I believe deserves the medal of honor for their role during the time of the Holocaust. All of the choices for this reward all deserved it in there own way. I believe that Anne frank deserves this award. I believe that Anne frank made the biggest difference to the Holocaust to deserve this award. one very big and important thing that she did was that she stayed positive and was always happy. It told people about the others living there and what they were like and how they treated others during this terrible time. Her diary was a large part of people and their thoughts during the Holocaust.
There were a few others that came close to deserving this award but I believe that they didn't deserve it more than Anne. One of the other people was Marion Blumenthal she was a very brave little girl surviving in Bergen Belsen but Anne Frank lived through much more than Marion.
Miep was also a very close candidate for this award for her very brave actions of keeping Anne and her family safe in the annex and bringing them food and water when needed. Anne deserved it more than Miep because she was a Jew and had to fight to survive in the camps. All of these people deserved this award in their own way but Anne deserved it more.
After all of this information was given I don't know you couldn't have pick Anne Frank. She was such a good influence to everyone around her with her positivity. Her and her Diary were great source of information about how people thought and acted during this time of grief in
Germany. The other people did also deserve this award but not as much as Anne did. These were the reasons Anne deserved the Medal of

    I do not think Dr. Fend should get the award since he was caught and was punished for his “disobedience”. Another reason is because he never told anyone about what he had done, his daughter had found out after 15 years of research. I think that because since he made it obvious and he got caught which gave him a punishment by the Chinese Government. I don’t think Irene Opdyke should get the award since she only saved 16 people.
