Growing up in the Washington D.C area, fascination with the great history that not only surrounds this country, but also defines the unique American experience, was a natural attraction for me. Living near the Washington Monument and other beautiful memorials; the magnitude of the efforts that made the United States a reality, were sources of great reflection for me as a kid in Arlington, VA.
