In my current position, I perform field investigations and inspections for the purpose of detection, prevention, and control of infectious and noninfectious diseases by promoting and regulating immunization information amongst child care providers, child care agencies, and community providers. In my role as a Quality Assurance Specialist, I inform individuals, groups, and organizations as to the regulations and statutes about immunizations. In fact, within my scope, I ensure compliance with these rules and statutes. Furthermore, I am always optimistic and willing to join community events to share the importance of immunization as a critical mechanism to avoid infectious disease.
