Once I graduated from high school, I made the decision to participate in Clark Atlanta University business program in order to receive my bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration of international business and marketing. During my freshmen business seminar class, I met my professor Dr. Dennis Kimbro whom is how educator, author, and a researcher in the field of management, entrepreneurship and human potential. Not only did he made sure the class was interesting but he inspired all of his students to continue to develop their knowledge in order to build wealth and have bright futures. Many of my classmates including myself plan to following in Kimbro footsteps by not only receiving B.A and M.A degrees in business but also a Ph.D. to ensure that we are knowledgably in the field and are consider experts. There are so many aspects to business as well as many career opportunities in this field which makes this a large discourse community. All businesses are different, however, they all share a common goal which is to be successful and make a profit. Businesses exist to provide products or services is an unfulfilled need that reaches a big enough market. Business use numbers to communicate. Numbers represent their revenue, profit, or even losses which is important. There is so much competition when it comes to owning a business so it’s common for this discourse community to be full of risk takers whom are aggressive, believe in taking initiative, and they use every available resource to their advantage in order for their business to
