Written in the first person as if the author was having a personal conservation with the reader, the textbook allows the reader to feel as if they are experiencing a mentorship with a professional in their field. The authors use a lot of “you” and “your” in their writing. With questions posted to the reader multiple times in each chapter and examples that are easy to understand.
