Diet Analysis Project

This project made me learn a lot about myself as a person. I was expecting to learn about my diet and whether it was healthy or not. I don’t really pay attention to what I eat and how much I eat. I more focus on when I am hungry and when I am full. After experiencing this project, I can definitely say that my ways of eating have changed drastically. Before this project began, I thought my diet was ok. During certain days, I would eat very healthy. On other days, I would eat very unhealthy. My diet consists of many fruits, vegetables, and healthy grains. I didn’t change the amounts of food I ate. The only thing I changed is the way I perceived eating. Realizing the food I ate made me come to a sense of what health really is. There are many things in my diet that need to be improved. The first thing would be to eat more dairy. Out of all three days that I tracked my diet, I didn’t eat a single thing with dairy in it. Another thing that needs to be improved in my diet is my grains intake. On the first day, I was over on my intake. On the next two days, I learned how to keep a healthy balance with everything that I ate. I plan on making these changes by changing my eating lifestyle. It has made me realize the proper balance of nutrients my body needs in order to run properly. Tracking my diet also has made me notice the flaws in my diet. There are many things I have to work on in order to eat the correct amount of each food. I did get the results I wanted. I was at the correct amount of calories each day and got a lot of essential vitamins/nutrients. I do see myself doing this in the future. With some moderate changes to my diet, I feel that I will get better results and feel better about my food intake. This project is a great way to see a different perspective of yourself and your
