My Girlfriend Research Paper

Essay 1 Draft Something that has attached to me and has a deep personal meaning is my girlfriend. I've been dating Pepper for about 3 and a half years and she has changed my life more than anything. We met in 8th grade and I only knew of her as being the cute girl that sits across the class. That is, until our teacher gave us new assigned seats. She was put right in front of me and I had never been so excited. My intentions still never included talking to her because that was way too far fetched to even think about doing. Then, one day we started talking about random little things and brought up a video game called Minecraft. We talked about how we both have it for our playstations and then that night I added her as a friend. For months we just played minecraft and had fun. Neither one of us tried to flirt or do anything like that because we both were dating other people. As time went on, I broke up with my girlfriend because I knew that I was just wasting my time and I started having feelings for Pepper. Don't get me wrong, I would never do anything to push her towards flirting with me and possibly upsetting her current boyfriend. …show more content…
This was the best news ever. I had a little bit of a hint that we were starting to have the same feeling towards each other. We both liked how much we could be friends and just tell eachother things without texting 24/7 and arguing about every little thing. I'll admit; I was getting friend zoned. I was friend zoned for almost a full year until our first date. Until 8th grade summer, when the fair was starting up. I had my brother drive me there and i'm pretty sure she got dropped off, but I knew that this was about to change

As such, Hillary losing the election is not necessarily a result of America’s distaste for her, but rather America’s refusal to move forward as a nation. To the uneducated or older part of white America, the concept that immigrants and LGBTQ+ individuals should be considered equal to them under the law is too novel of an idea to risk a Clinton presidency, regardless of her experience in the field. The idea that women should have sole right to their bodies is too ridiculous of a concept that this specific demographic chose to vote for an inexperienced and volatile individual rather than risk voting for a woman who had dedicated her entire life to politics and the betterment of our nation. However, if one chooses to analyze the extrinsic factors surrounding Clinton’s defeat (public’s view of her authenticity, sexism, xenophobia), it is only fair to consider the intrinsic factors that may have contributed to her landslide loss to Trump.…

Mrs. Winn’s kindergarten class was probably one of my favorite elementary classes because I had my best guy friend, Cameron, in the class, and it was obviously an easy class for me. I remember whenever we colored anything or did any drawings, my teacher would always compliment my coloring abilities because I knew how to color within the lines; all the other kids had scribbles outside of the lines and their drawings would not be as neat as mine. Cameron and another boy named Jordy were my favorite people in the class and the three of us would always hang out together and play outside during recess. Jordy was my favorite until he snitched on me and told the teacher I did something I did not do. He eventually died out of my life because I did…

As a wise man once said, “Be slow in choosing a friend, slower in changing.” Of course, this wise man is none other than the legendary Benjamin Franklin, American superstar. What was said way back in the eighteenth century is still relevant today, as are many of Franklin’s aphorisms. I myself have lived a personal example of this striking proverb within my lifetime, and have lived to tell the tale. This time last year I was a lowly freshman.…
