Personal Narrative: My Trip To Iowa City Children's Hospital

My very first time going to the Iowa City Children's Hospital was when I was nine years old. The reason I had to go down there was because my older brother who was 12 at the time had to get a surgery done on his knee. He had the surgery because he got hurt in football. When he was in the game a kid from the other team went to tackle Bryce. When Bryce got tackled the kid hit Bryce in the side of the knee with his helmet. He kept playing until the end of the game. After the game was over we went to the doctors to see what was wrong. Bryce just had a sprained knee. The next day they had football practice. Once the doctor came in they did the same thing but they went into more detail on how the surgery will go. After the surgery was over we were able to go home once we knew Bryce was awake and they give us permission to leave. The only time we had to come back to Iowa city was for physical therapy. After Bryce got better we didn't have to go back down anymore.
The next time I was down at the Children's Hospital was for my little brother Jaxin. We went down there for his respiratory problems and his eyes. For his breathing, we go down there because when he was born with one lung that wasn't fully developed like the other one was. When we went down for his eyes we don't go to the Children's Hospital we go to a different part of the hospital.
When we got to the eye part of the hospital we check in and wait in the waiting room. They have a little play area that the kids play in while waiting to be called back. Once we got called back they put Jaxin into a chair so they can start the checkup. Sometimes Jaxin doesn't want to sit in the chair by himself so either mom or I sit in the chair and then put Jaxin on our
