Definition Of A Hero

Think about the word hero, and it usually goes back to an early childhood of fairy tales and superheroes that save the day by someone who is strong and brave with tons of courage. They are someone a person looks up to and hopes to be when they grow up. But what defines what a hero truly is? A hero is a person in our life that shows a difference. A hero is someone who has the dedication and the ambition to do things that need to be done. A hero is inspiring, but yet they prove their greatness by showing examples that are held so dear and learn from. The effect of their character is what encourages a person to be just like them. A hero over comes obstacles pretty easily so it helps a person think about a plan in the same situation, and usually, it would be to pick up the pieces and achieve that goal. Of course, there are several. A firefighter who enters a burning building to save someone. A doctor who performs surgery to save a life. A person in the military who puts their life on the line so that others can have freedom. Parents are heroes as they provide the home, the food, and the love for their children. A teacher is a hero, someone saving a child from drowning, a policeman, and a person who adopts a pet. My personal favorite hero is my younger brother. He has Cerebral Palsy and cannot walk. He is in a wheelchair, but he never stops trying to move closer to taking a step one
