Hero’s are everyday people that have done something for the greater good. A hero is a person who has gone out of their way to help or save something or someone from danger. The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines a hero as, a person, typically a man who is admired for having courage or having outstanding achievements (Merriam-Webster). In my opinion this book definition is wrong, because heroes aren’t just men. Heroes can range from being a small town sports team that just won a state championship or soldiers who saved a community from a terrorist group.…

“Heroes are everyday common people, most of what they do goes unheralded, unappreciated, and that ironically is heroism”. Being a hero is does not always mean you have superpowers or you wear a cape, you can just be a common person and be a hero at the same time. You could just be the mom who helps their kid with school work or the kid who wants to do well in school.
