The greatest thing a child of God can do is to love with 1 Corinthians 13 kind of love for all. Furthermore, this kind of love is not a love that comes naturally. I know for myself that after you have been deeply hurt, you get the attitude I will not be treated that way. We stand guard over our heart and emotions almost daring someone to cross the line we have drawn. We say and think things like, “I will not go thought that again,” “I will not be a doormat for no man,” or “I refuse to let anyone treat me like that” All these statement shows us that something is wrong in our heart.
